Maybe very old Child's Dresser, not Shaker! but what style?

Hello, I need help again! this dresser I bought when my son was 12 yr. old, he is 21 now. He wanted to make money so I paid him $100 to strip and refinish it. It was white, I bought it cheap, there were only 2 pull knobs and 1 was broke. The ones now of course are new. It is 43 3/4" tall and 28" across. I think it was made a long time ago and then repaired and painted white around 1900. On the back is 1087 CH or OH in white, Also drawer length is 13 3/4" but there is room for 16"? so I think the drawers were shortened for repair? All the wood is beautiful, bottom of drawers, wood between drawers, and round pegs on top. If anybody has any ideas please let me know!!! toracat
