I have a teapot??

I have this pot, I think its a tea kettle or something of sorts. Would just like to see what it is and maybe how I could look up symbols on the bottom of it. Its silver, has a few dents in it, but otherwise good condition. I have had it for a few years and use it as a deco item. If anyone could tell me what it is or any information on it at all I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!!
