I repair clocks for a local antiques dealer and this is one I got in exchange for my work. It's a nice looking french alarm clock made by Jaz. It is in overall good condition, to. If anyone has a Jaz clock and wishes to date it well, here is a tip of mine that I found online. Up to 1941 Jaz clocks had only the logo JAZ in big letters. Like this one, from 1941 the company introduced "the bird" over the logo with it's tail upward until 1967 when they put it's tail downward and, in 1975, they stopped, and I am unsure what the logo was from then onward (as Jaz are still in business). Thanks!

If I have read your description correctly, This must be after 1967, the tail is pointing down, is that correct?

Okay found what your were refering towards, just didn't put in right order in your description. Here's a blog on that subject.
JAZ and JAPY alarm clocks are the most popular French alarm clocks. The first JAZ clocks date from late 1800s. Dating a vintage JAZ clock is easy for the collector. Until 1941, JAZ clocks only had the inscription 'JAZ' above the number 6 on the clock face. From 1942 until 1967 a little bird (Jaseur Boreal) was added above the JAZ inscription with one very significant detail - the bird's tail is directed downward. Clocks made by JAZ from 1967 to 1975 have the bird's tail directed upward. After 1975 the word JAZ is inscribed below the number 12. With this information you can now be more certain of the age of your discovery of a vintage JAZ clock at a brocante or flea market
