I'm trying to authenticate this piece. It's unsigned and has a silver repoussee front over a base metal back. It appears to be fairly old - there's a good amount of wear on the relief high points.
The design is St. George Slaying the Dragon and is an identical match for the following signed Cini piece:

I do know that not all Cini pieces are signed, especially his early designs. Any help you might offer in identifying the maker of this brooch is greatly appreciated.
I don't believe this is one of his pieces, but I think it is a recast, possibly done by his grandaughters. I have posted mine for you to use as reference. This is a cast piece and NOT repoussee. If you look at the edges and the back of the front piece you can see file/saw/cast marks. you can see the detail between the 2 are way off, especially the plume of the helmet, the dragons face details, and the harness across the chest of the horse which would not have been subject to as much wear as the higher relief.
I could be wrong but I don't think either are authentic Cini's but nice recasts.
