    I bought this with a bunch of old keys and skeleton keys but I am not sure if it is a key. I am not sure if it was always bent or if it was bent by accident. I hope someone on this site can help me identify it.

      Yep , that is what it is . I have used many of them when I was a kid .

      By the way it was made with the bend in the end so that you could tighten the skate clamps onto your shoes .
