This table stands 4 feet tall incuding post & is made out of mahogany or some type of dark wood. It is three footed and woodworked together in a fashion thats grooved together and is spectacular craftmanship. The table itself is heavy marble which would make you think it would be very topheavy but it is not. Its a very steady piece. I would like to know if anyone could help in identifying it because I cant see markings of any kind. Also, its lacking a shade & I would like to find a replacement and have been looking at the fiberglass ones but nothing seems quite right. It has a place for a screw on type. Any ideas?
A fiberglass shade is probably your best bet. I think a tall tube shaped one would look awesome. Maybe even one that is the woven wicker type shade...
