Here is a US silver dollar, and it is such a beautiful coin. I have never owned one of these before, but now I do. I do not know much about coins, but they sure do not make them like this anymore. Can anyone tell me if this is better than melt quality? Also where would the mint mark be? Is there one?

    Thanks!

Doesn't the absence of a mint mark mean Phil., PA?
