    I don't know anything about this tray. My mom picked it up for me from an estate in her hometown. It could be from the early 1900's. The brush has horse hair; the rest is made of wood and metal. The tray is just made of metal. It is neither silver nor silver plate. I have no idea what it could be made of. There is no mark either. I suppose it is European.

      I don't know how it was in North America but in Germany little ugly plastic boxes with turning brushes were popular in the seventies to clean the tables. They never worked! Those old-fashioned crumb trays do the job every time!
