    I don't think I've ever seen a piece of crystal with an enclosed bottom like this before? Its NOT a mould piece, its definitely cut crystal. Has a name etched into it, Aline Hamerstad? And the "s" is written as "f" like you see in very old books. Gosh, when did they stop using that? This thing must be pretty old. Anyone have any info on this piece? Its starting to grow on me, it feels unique

      That was my guess, either a wedding gift or a commemorative piece the couple had made

      Its wheel-cut crystal actually, made in three pieces, and there's a German name inscribed on it
