These can only be picked up by two strong guys. they are extremely heavy. but wow! these are amazing - best foo dogs i've ever seen outside of a museum. I would love to learn more about their age and where they are from. The granite has fairly large crystals in it and is filled w/ generations of lichen. I'm sure that these are very, very old, but beyond that i know nothing!
i just posted some much better photos. I'd love to either get some more info on them or go where i can find the info. thanks!
i was told by a foo dog collector that he thinks these are Korean and very old. Any pros who have an opinion out there?
