One of my prized finds from an antique store, and of course it had a wonderful price with it! They must not have looked into this one! It has a Rose quartz rock for the stone in a ring made of wire, and leaf design around the top of the bell itself. Also someone had evidently used silver polish to remove the patina....not good! This should have the patina, PLEASE if you sell let buyer clean the patina It measures 7 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide.
I have called a online appraisal site and they could not find anything about this bell, except for the meaning of what the hand gesture signifies. And she had 2 of them looking. From what I have read the Figa is one of the most famous examples of a talisman. Well respected thru the Mediterranean countries and Brazil. What gets me there is no marking. It would take alot for me to let this **Has anyone out there seen one like this???

LOl, that dressform was from Antiques Roadshow. I made one with a wire form with my husbands Grandmothers dress on it and had all my brooches on it.I know I had at least 3k worth of brooches on it. BUT the wire form I had the movers somehow broke it in half during one of our moves! Now I'm aiming for a real form.
