Several inches long. Made of metal. Screw on top. Cork or wood on top of the cap. Anyone know what it is and how old? Thank you.

Powder flasks are made of non-ferrous materials. "Several inches long" is dia. or includes the spout? Dia. of spout is maybe a little large to be for priming flintlocks & doesn't explain the cork on top of cap. As a powder flask, it sure wouldn't hold many charges. I think it is something else but not sure what. Well made if really old.
