Vintage Needlepoint Abstract / Framed and Signed / Circa 1978

Found this in our "Goodwill " store. I like abstract and modern art and usually I'm looking for vintage prints and oils on canvas, but this appealed to me. It's 18 1/2" x 16" very professionally done and custom framed and labeled. The label on the back says "Schwind and Son" Elyria OH. It has the artist name and address and is simply titled "Needlepoint Sampler 1978 " I don't know the term for this type of stitch, but it's comprised of about 30 rows of parallel 1/2" stitches. It's not snagged or dirty which is surprising for it's light background, age and not having glass over it. I don't know if it has any value outside of a decorative piece, but I like it. Any thoughts ?? -Mike-
