Does anyone know who manufactured this table?

I own Drop Dead Gorgeous Furniture Restorations. I am restoring this table for a client, and she asked me to research it for her. It only has part of the label on the bottom. I've included a pic. Mer? Mem" There is also a newspaper article glued to the underneath about President Hoover. I would like to tell her the manufacturer. It has a number on the bottom.
