My favorite types of bottles are the inks. I've managed to dig up a few. The oldest one I've found is the 8 sided Umbrella ink unearthed in Alleghany CA. It has a ground pontil, and rolled lip. The next one is also 8 sided, and if I'm not mistaken, is Emerald green. exhumed in Grass Valley CA. The last one is an Amethyst square ink, found at the Red`Castle Inn in Nevada City CA. The bottom is embossed, "L.H. Thomas Co, Chicago. #467. You can say that I've been all over this County. LOL!
