cool lock without key. Not even sure what it was used for. Found in a trunk in my fathers belongings after he passed a few years ago.

This is a Chinese lock. It could be an antique, but it is hard to tell as the market is being flooded with fakes. You would insert the key in one end, and the other end comes out with the bar. Look on ebay for antique Chinese locks, and you will see many of these.
Thanks for the info. It was my dads so it's been around for some time ;)
