It is hard to tell the material from photos. Are they cane or bamboo with silk?I collect vintage fans.I have not seen these before.Truly beautiful

The figure on the fan on the left looks Indonesian to me. It is reminiscent of the famous Wayang Kulit puppets. The figure is Rama, the central image in the Hindu epic Ramayana

Screen fan with wayang shadow puppet
Indonesia, Bali, 19th or 20th century
Buffalo hide, pierced, painted, and gilt; carved buffalo horn handle.
It seems that they are quite distinct from Chinese and Japanese fans ..... They are leaf shaped, made of buffalo hide painted in gold, and sport a dancing figure or figures.
    Exquisite both of them!
