Billy Casper was born in San Diego, California in June 24, 1931 started golf at age five.
He caddied during his youth at San Diego Country Club and attended the University of Notre Dame on a golf scholarship,
Casper turned professional in 1954.
Seventh on the all time win list with 51 PGA Tour wins in his career, including the 1959 and 196 U.S. Open and the 1970 Masters Tournament.
