Aaron is best known for winning the 1973 Masters Tournament.
Tommy was born in Gainesville, Georgia and began playing golf at age 12 and attended the University of Florida.
Aaron turned pro in 1960.
Aaron had eight amateur wins, the 1957 SEC Championship, Georgia Amateur, 1958 SEC Championship, Southeastern Amateur, 1959 Sunnehanna Amateur, 1960 Western Amateur, Georgia Amateur, Southeastern Amateur
He also had eight professional wins with 1968 Canadian Open in a playoff with Sam Snead, 1970 Atlanta Classic and his major tournament win at the 1973 Masters Tournament
