    got this at a flea market in suburban Chicago. It's obviously been repainted, but its a cool, heavy milk container. Say's "Allan Dairy" on the side of it. If anyone has any information I would love to know more...

      Very cool. Thanks Phil! I knew there was a better name than "metal milk container." Cream can sounds way better. I'm curious though what makes you think this one is older than 50's or 60's?
