    G'day,

    Here's a chair I picked up on the weekend from an old Homestead - don't have many details about it though. Apparently it's made from Tasmanian Oak and has been in the family I got it from for over 100 years...apart from that we know nothing. Has anyone seen any chairs like this before or have any idea the origin of this style - a friend mentioned they may have ben used on steam boats up and down the Murray River here in Australia - any info would be great!
