This rooster I received from my mother in-law quite recently & I was so happy to receive it. It stands 11 1/2 inches high, the base is 15 1/2 inches in circumference on the base it has a brown painted 5 also it has 1/3 imbedded into it. What cannot be seen the tongue is still intact. I am led to believe that it has been in the family for some time I am just not sure how long as I do not understand Italian but we manage to communicate in our own way. The red paint is flat & I think it may be lead base. It just caught my eye. I hope you also like it. I have just been having a good look around & if I am Wright or just have a wonderful mother-in-law this is a ceramic rooster made by Intrada Campagna Verdi Rooster which started in 1979. Apparently they stand for GOOD LUCK which is something I need a great deal of. Bless my mother in-law. I hope this photo has better colouring as they really brilliant.

Thank you Moostonelover21 or is it Lee as I have seen it typed is it ok if I call you that if it is your name. I have done some checking I am most probably wrong & have since spoken to my mother in-law the timing is Wright they could possibly be made by Intrada Campagna Verdi Company. They opened in 1979 which is around the time they were bought. Please remember I did say I am most probably wrong. There is also a ceramic piece with 3 horses that I want to look into on the same style. Until I am told different I will have to run with that. It does have better colouring to the eye when photo taken properly.
