Pictured are two matching pin and earring sets that belonged to my paternal great aunt. Both were purchased in the 1950s or 60s, but probably more likely the 60s.

The gold color set is Retro style, and could be from late 1940s -early 50s.

The gold color set looks very much like a 1940s/early 50s set pictured in a book that I have, so you could be right. I only know, like I said in my post, that my aunt probably *bought* the set at a later date.
