First let's start with the Emerson Trojan it is made in 1910 and can be either run by ac or by DC. DC is 12v ac is 115v. Now for the Dayton air circulator it was made pre 1950s it has a three speed split phse motor which is really reliable because of it capacitor. Love the Vornado! And Westinghouse made one fairly similar to the Dayton. The Dayton is more scarce and worth more in good condition.

The Vornado in the picture is mine. It was manufactured in 1956-57.
