    It is a metal hanging plate; its diameter is really close to 12 in. On back, on the horse front up legs there is a shield.

      The image of the hallmark is blurry, hard to tell what it is.
      There is another mark on the front below the horses feet.
      I think the image depicts a medieval hunting scene, the hunter has a horn at his waist, a greyhound to bring down quarry, a stag (deer), a castle (hunting on large estates was a pastime of the aristocracy) & of course the all important horse.
      Did you see the cross in the deer's antlers?

      The cross is in a thunb the knight looks to me as he is praying as.
