Oooops ! .... Forgot I had this in my trunk. At first I couldn't read the mark it has a very shallow imprint. Under the right light it turned out to be Cookson Pottery of Roseville Ohio. I have a couple of their pieces and they are all marked differently. This is the 3rd version I've seen. It's the numbers 8306 then 8" and a large "C P " with a banner through the middle that says USA. I found a red bowl online with the same mark only much clearer. Mine is almost invisible in normal light except for the numbers. It came from the same SA I got the pewter tray from. No damage or chips.
