Kobe Bryant is the biggest star in basketball’s biggest city, and the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard just seems to get more popular every year. After jumping to the NBA straight from high school in 1996, Bryant played second fiddle to Shaquille O’Neal’s Lakers-led championship teams before taking the reins himself in the early 2000s. Bryant has won five NBA titles, including two since O’Neal’s departure, answering earlier questions of whether he could carry a team.
Bryant memorabilia is equally popular. Whether it is one of his jerseys (the #8 he wore his first 10 seasons or the #24 he has worn since), his autographs, or his basketball cards, few sports stars shine as bright as Bryant.
