Kobe Bryant is the biggest star in basketball’s biggest city, and the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard just seems to get more popular every year. After jumping to the NBA straight from high school in 1996, Bryant played second fiddle to Shaquille O’Neal’s Lakers-led championship teams before taking the reins himself in the early 2000s.
