THIS WAS IN A LOT I BOUGHT THIS WEEKEND. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND RUNS KEEPING GOOD TIME. IT IS STEM WOUND AND THE PLATE WITH SHASTA LETTERING ROTATES INSTEAD OF HAVING A SWEEP HAND. FOUND IT DIFFERENT AND INTERESTING. THE BACK IS MARKED SWISS MADE LAFAYETTE WATCH CO.

Cad, first , very nice find, love the piece. The Lafayette pieces would date around the early 1970's. They were noted to make a couple character watches also, Bugs Bunny and Underdog, just to name a couple. Thanks for sharing this wonderful "Advertising" watch. Love the animated second disk on this, again very cool.
