Hi Sara, the box is a replica of a Chinese portable wooden shrine with an apochryphal mark on the base. The center may be a Buddha and the left figure Quan Yin, but the details aren't sharp enough to say for sure. The kneeling figure is a replica of a tomb warrior, this particular one an archer. It should be clay as these are turned out by the thousands in China, mostly in sizes from yours to over a meter.

You are awesome Jim! I appreciate your input bunches! I found that it is a Kuantan yin or something similar and worth about $20. :) your warrior info will def help me search.

On another note, do you metal detect?

I did, maybe 30 years ago, old farmsteads, beaches, schoolyards. I think the equipment has come a long way since then. Never found anything of significance.
Curious as to why you ask. Best wishes, Jim
