A nice match safe in my antique collection

I got this delicately made match safe in a London antique shop. It is in good condition. I was thrilled by its masterly engravings which seems to show a battle in Roman era according to the dress style in the pattern. The main metal of it is brass with silver on top of it. There is a very vague hall mark on the verge of the match safe back which I can't identify. I hope some knowledgeable person can tell me more about this safe.
