I used one of these between 1966-1970 when I worked for Ohio Bell as a repairman and installer. They were very high quality, water resistant and durable.
I used this test set in the 1960's when I was in PBX repairman and we referred to it as the pencil dialer. I still have one today.
found one of these while going through my fathers stuff he was throwing away. He used it in the late 60's early 70's while working for CNT in Newfoundland, Canada
I have this same phone that I got from my father....he was born 1925. I would like it rewired and use it. Do you know who could rewire for me? Thanks for your help.
I actually did some research on this item, because I bought one myself on eBay for just 5 dollars. It was made in 1939. This was the final model of this particular production.
