1920's Vintage Hand Carved Shell Cameo Brooch 2" by 1.5". All I know about this piece is she's georgous and a beautiful addition to my collection.

I'm curious about the ruby colour in the hair. Does the depth get deeper there so that it picks up the lower shell level colour? Doesn't appear so by the pix. I luv that feature best though all of it is truly a fine work of art.
I have no idea blunderbuss2 so I put the question to the seller & came to find out it's a coral cameo. I have a lot to learn about the difference but the price should of been my first clue. She's still a beauty and well worth what I paid!
