    This hand-painted, 13" dia. terra cotta plate caught my eye at a recent estate sale. Neon colors remind me of the mid-60's era. Anyone care to add information?

      What a beautiful plate! Please take that metal wall hanger off - it will damage the terracotta. :-)

      Not surprised about that...the design looks kind of Peruvian/Portugal. Turn the photo right side up and google the image.

      Did a little research a la Google and discovered that this is a Mexican Hand Painted Red Clay Plate in the Amate Bark style. Found a very similar piece that sold on EBay in 2013.
