      Reed & Barton began business in 1824. Your pitcher resembles pewter rather than sterling.

      I have a pewter one that is not marked on the bottom and the pic looks much thinner than mine yet almost identical. Mine is marked on the side and is USA and a couple other marks. Keep looking. :o)

      Hello!...Jamestown is the name of the pattern and 1807 is the pattern/manufactures number if this is any help..here's one like yours in silver plate..
