Found this Monocular with no markings. The case it was in has a name on the top LEWYT, which after research was a vacuum cleaner co. any help with the correct description or Mfg. would be a great knowledge booster for me. Thanks in advance.

Mr. Lewyt's company went after a varied product lineup. During wartime, he went after several lucrative supply contracts. His obituary provides a bit of history: http://www.nytimes.com/1988/03/21/obituaries/alexander-m-lewyt-dead-at-79-invented-lewyt-vacuum-cleaner.html

      So yes, same company.

Thx. TA, looks like he sold the company in 1950. This was probably one of his gadget inventions. Thanks my friend, more Reading to be done for me.
