Hello everyone, I have been trying to figure out where this item came from. I believe it is a jewelry box/trunk. It is wood and has a painted leather cover. This is very old as you can see some of the paint is already coming of. Their is a painted bull on the left and I believe what looks like a dog on the right. It is 16 inches long and 9 inches tall. I hope someone can help me identify this item. Thank you for taking the time to look at my mystery.
beautiful!! i guess the bull and the dog represent something which is well guarded?
