    I have been thinking of buying a magnifier with a light for some time now. Today, while looking into a row of boxes at this morning's market, I saw this one. I bought it right away, and at the next stall I bought 4 Phillips AA batteries for another $1.00.

    Works like a charm.

    I was surprised to discover how expensive this particular magnifier is...

      nutsa - I bought my loupe from France. I've had it a long time now. There are all sorts of magnifications available for all sort of different purposes. How strong of a loupe are you looking for?
