    This is from my hat pin collection and is a 1940s or could be earlier blue table cut glass and is so beautiful when the light shines on the glass it is a cobalt blue.The other hat pin is a mixture of celluloid and bakelite I think.

      I think the blue is older, if the pin is longest.
