My husband served on the USS HAILEY, DD556, during the years
1951 thru 1953. The Hailey was a WWII vessel put into mothballs after the war in San Diego. She was recommissioned in 1951 and became a part of the 6th fleet. If you have pics or served on this ship, please post.

In research, we discovered this ship was sold to Brazil for commercial use (I think).
