    There are many of you that seem to enjoy nostalgic pictures. This is for you! : ) I will also look into digging up some old pics of my dad and his brother and their Harley's from the late 1950's.

    This was my Dad's first car that he bought while working at GM.

      Wow! Awesome officialfuel. We are both GM kinda guys then. My Dad ended up working at GM for 44 years and 6 months. Between you and my Dad that adds up to almost a century!!! : ) Thanks for showin some love with the post here my friend....

      kerry did the Impala look the same for 1962 and 1963?? I appreciate the information and am always up to learn and get better with my knowledge of these sorts of things....

      1962 it is boss. Yeah no prob kerry. Tons of stuff on that page. Yeah for sure it would be nice to have. Good to have shot the breeze a bit with you guys.

      yes 61-64 had similar body line the 64 lost the pointed edges front and rear fenders, the 63 and 64 had similar trunks the 61 and62 had "V" notic on trunk lids and samll change in grill lay-out and turn signals and tail lights earlier one pointed the later rounded.

      i am a ford guy but love all the old stuff that is a 1962 1963 have marker lights under the head lights . oh and was your dad a hard driver because the left side looks like it was hit or hit something look at the bumper its bend back

      it was suppost to say maker light was smalller and fit under but beteewn the head lights sorry about that
