"This is a lithograph done on rice paper.
Robert Vanderhorst is a Canadian surrealist artist, based in Toronto. Born in the Netherlands in 1950, immigrated to Canada in 1951; he is a self-taught artist with a technique influenced by strong Dutch tradition. Since his first solo exhibition in Toronto in 1973, his paintings have been featured in over 25 shows. His imagery has been used in many diverse ways, ranging from illustrations in psychology journals and aviation book covers to television programs and live stage productions. In 1979 he began publishing limited edition lithographs of his images."
      Presently at the Atlantean Gallery.
