how much is it worth?
I have model 46-1209. It's complete and missing one knob. I'm thinking of restoring it but not sire if it's worth the effort or price. Anyone know the value?
Hello! I inherited my parent's philco radio. It looks like this one. I am missing a wooden push button. Where can I get a replacement? Please help!!!
Thanks. Debbie
I have a great condition 1209.
Any radio/phonograph with a busted-up, dusty phonograph looses value. Keep it clean and functioning; even though you'll use the phonograph less than the radio. Then, occasionally, play your favorite Led Zeppelin album; loud!
The 1209 is a great console!
i have one of these in great condition, what is it worth
I have a 1209 in mint coditon. What is it worth.
The '46-1209 had a production run of 27,000. It's not exactly a hard-to-find console. Mint condition: $450 tops. I hope to prove myself wrong later this year when mine hits e-Bay. Remember the Howard's!
Correction: About 70- 72 thousand; as appose to 27. My apologies.
72,000 includes the 1947 models also Rick. has anybody cashed in on this item yet? please respond
I just discovered my grandfathers philco 46-1209 works great and record., player as well.Someone was going to throw it out.ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO CLEAN IT UP?
I have a 46-480 I just picked up today in really good condition, still working cleaned it up and it looks beautiful... ITS COMPLETE, nothing missing... I've seen my model same year obviously go for 500 or more! My model doesn't have the phonograph... it looks exactly the same as this one, and my retail price was $129.00 in 1946.... lots of money then! :)
