    it is beautiful and that is all that I know. Age? History? I have looked all over and cannot find anything relating to this style of table.

      The brass ormolu doesn't show the details that I would expect of a 19th century piece. The brass is flat and still shows many casting flaws.

      Suspect your piece is mid 20th century-- maybe a little earlier. A photo of the underside of the table may help to confirm the dating.
