Found many years ago by my GF's grandfather, however he traveled (from his home in central Ohio) and spent time in the west (specifically Utah), thus making a positive ID on the enclosed difficult.
While doing some amateur research, I suspect this artifact to be a paint pot of some kind and/or type.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
