This poor little bottle was so dirty when it arrived that it actually looked like wood - which is how it was sold to me. But when I carefully wiped away the grime, I saw the schreger lines and knew it was ivory.
It measures 2 14/16" without the stopper, and the tiny writing on the front takes up an area less than 7/16ths of an inch. The writing is tiny!
The back also has tiny calligraphy, but compared to the front it's huge! Haha
What I don't understand is how the black was done. It almost looks embedded in the ivory.
