This was my old lunchbox from gradeschool. It was made by the Thermos Company. The handle, clasp, thermos, cap and cup are all in excellent shape. There are no dents, dings or rust on it.

I would love some feedback on it as well as information as to where I can get a rating for it. I think it is pristine condition but would love to hear that from a professional.

This lunchbox has two indentions about the size of a fingertip to hold the thermos in place as opposed to the piece of wire that acted as a spring.

    Thanks, boxlunch.
If you don't mind, give me a little information on this one. I'm not well educated as it applies to lunchboxes.

Hi ds, The Scooby doo lunchbox was produced by King Seeley thermos company in two colors the firs is yellow the second color being orange. The yellow one in this condition books for about 750.00 dollars. You have the orange box which books at 800.00 dollars for the box itself. The thermos is worth about 50.00 dollars. The yellow box has a green thermos same design. You have the date right at 1973. Hope this bit of info helps.

Sorry to have not placed a rating on it in my last comment. I would go with 9/10 or as near mint.

...so my next question is where do I go to get anywhere near that kind of money for a lunchbox? Do you have any contacts?

Hey Ds, I really can't help you with that at all. Realistically you probably could'nt get anywhere near that with the economy the way it is. But it's still not entirely impossible that you would'nt be able to get a decent amount. probably some where near about 200.00 dollars for the whole kit. The book prices are based on a high end sale in the area or top dollar paid. Hope this info helps.

If you want the best price stay away from eBay, just checked and their going for a couple hundred at best.
