I been collecting majolica mud men for some years.i bought my first one in a charity shop for 2english pounds at the time I did not know what it was there was some thing about this green and yellow statue.so I went home to look on eBay and I found out what it was.from that day I was.hooked
mudmen / shiwan pieces are really cool! i have a couple of nice ones too.
Nice I have about 30 in my collection I mainly look for older ones and ones that are larger those are harder to find. Your collect looks good. I have of a doctor treating a woman. Mud Women are very hard to find I only seen a few. I try to get them when I see them.
To grendel67.thanks for your comments. I have been collecting them for about 10 years.the tall one you can see in the back he is 16inch tall has a bit of damage nothing major.i only paid 10pounds for it when I ask the lady in shop how much see said 10pounds.i will take it .would like to see pictures of your mud men.
