I FELT THE NEED TO POST SOMETHING PATRIOTIC TODAY. I WAS TRULY SADDENED TODAY AS I DROVE TO WORK AS I NOTICED HARDLY ANY FLAGS IN SIGHT. WE ALWAYS SPEAK OF AMERICAN PRIDE, YET OUT HERE ANYWAY, IT SEEMS AS IF NOBODY CARED ENOUGH TO SHOW IT. IT'S BECOME WORSE OVER THE PASSING YEARS. VERY SAD TO ME & VERY DISRESPECTFUL. ANYWAY, A COUPLE MAGAZINES FROM 1932 & 1940 FROM MY COLLECTION. THE POST CARD IS FROM 1919.

THAT'S A WONDERFUL THING YOU DID, JASON. I THINK WE TAKE OUR VETS FOR GRANTED IN THIS COUNTRY & I DON'T KNOW WHY. WE OWE OUR LIVES & FREEDOM TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY & WHEN WE CAN'T DO SUCH A SMALL THING AS TO RAISE OUR FLAGS IN HONOR OF THAT, IT DOESN'T SAY MUCH AS A COUNTRY ABOUT US. THANKS, JASON FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY & FOR TAKING THE TIME TO COMMENT!
You couldn't have said it better, Jason!
