While going through a stack of old magazines, and papers, low and behold I found this box, it's an old leather look vinyl covered, hardboard lidded box. I opened the lid and found a treasure of costume jewelry, hand mirrors, a magnifying glass, and pocketknife. I had started going through it over ten years ago, but for some reason, closed it up, and put it away, someone(probably me) put a magazine on top of it. Next thing ya know, it has a stack on top, and gone, waiting to be found again!
I think that I bought the box at an Estate sale, and used it to hold my jewelry buys, and such, then had the magnifying glass, trying to find marks on the jewelry. Some have a little damage, some are silver, and the necklace in the gray box is 10k gold, but very small! The dress, cracked ice 2 blade folding pocketknife, is a Kutmaster Utica N.Y. Made in U.S.A.
Just goes to show ya, sometimes just going through your stored things, you can you can score, without leaving your house!

The mirrors look good, there is some great jewellery, and I particularly love the necklace centre front.

Yes Karen, it was a nice surprise! :^) The mirrors I got for the Renaissance Faire, but they never got there, maybe this year! I like that necklace too, it needs some work, Bonnie would already have finished that, the day she got it! :^D
Mary, yes it saves on gas too! I really wish we lived in an area that we could have a store right at home, that way, just put it on the shelf for sale, but not possible here.

Hi cg5, it mostly fun finding your again, unless something got broken when it was packed away. Not often, but sometimes it happens!
It is rare finding goodies, that haven't been picked through, but sometimes, when people buy storage lockers, it's all about moving it out, and making the quick sale. They put very little time searching through it, so if you take a little time, you can find some great buys, still! :^) Thanks for the love!
