I found two matching table lamps, as they were about to be discarded, from an antique store in FL. They were in rough condition, with water and sediment inside, along with mold growing in the Baby's Breath detail. Both cleaned up beautifully, new light kits, painted the inside cord rod white, new lamp shades. Yes, I painted the base black, deviating from the brass color, however they fit our decor. I'd love to know what time period they may have originated, also if they may be of a special manufacturer.

I believe it to be made in around 1970 when there was a large import business and many of these businesses started with lamps, statue lamps and tables. Some were made in the states including esp california and also in italy. A lot of them in the states used almost identical bases. I have a set from this period, dated 1973 with just initials to maker EB. This piece has a nice classical look, not referring to an old style, beautiful. A lot of the frosted bases had a metal diffuser for a light, and they emitted a beautiful soft light.

Thank you PhilDMorris.. The bottom of these lamps do not include any markings. In fact, the underside it's rough, and a dangerous area to venture. While I cleaned them up, a shot of water from the kitchen sink sprayer was enough to remove the dried mud. I don't know the story of them, however Florida experienced numerous hurricanes in 2004. We lived in the Titusville area, and may have been discarded following one of the storms. Thank you for your comment.
